And So to Bed - Event

Wednesday, 30 November 2016

I was recently kindly invited to the And So To  Bed Event by the Hilgate PR , it truly is the home of the most beautiful and luxurious beds and bedroom accesories.

The event not only showcased the stunning beds but  the launch the newest Airloom mattresses which are unbelievably comfortable , I had the opportunity to sit down and test them out and it is by far the comfiest matters I have yet had the chance to test . The mattress itself tends to be between 12-16 inches thick , being made out of various layers such as regular foam, memory foam, tally latex , cashmere, cotton and wool gives it a comfort layer that is out there. incomparable to any other mattresses out there.

And so to  beds offer their own range of fabrics in which all beds can be upholstered however they are also able to offer the service of upholstering it with a fabric of your own as long as it meets the UK fabric regulations.

This velvet green bed was one of my ultimate favourites and a true statement piece within any bedroom, with the beautiful brass detail this bed is bound to add a luxury and sophisticated feel to a bedroom.

This chrome traditional bed above is another luxury feeling yet a little more toned down bed.

And so to be Beds also have a range of your Traditional Velvet bed with a built in headboard perfect for a more relaxed bedroom feel.

As seen in the photos , And So To Beds offer a range of headboard styles, from padded, square to even curved styles. This allows the potential client to have the option to make their bed as personalised as they like, the studded details adds a nice touch to the headboard below whilst still keeping it toned down.

The photos showcase their stunning bedroom design , whether your looking for  a new bed or are an Interior Designer like myself And So To  Beds is a perfect place for it.

NYC INSPIRED LOFT APARTMENTS

Monday, 4 January 2016

Small yet beautiful spaces where you feel at home. I personally absolutely love the not so spacious NYC inspired loft apartments. Theres something unique & beautiful about them. Despite them not always being fully furnished as some may say for instance as in the first photo below I absolutely love the simple decor. The second apartment has slightly different industrial approach to it whilst still having a homey feel to it. The brick wall has a specific look to the apartment which I am very fond of.

The photo below shows a more homey / modern approach to the loft apartment inspired look , once again absolutely stunning with a simple colour palette and slight pop of colour.

The photo above shows a slightly subtle approach on the inside brick wall look, its a lot softer yet still beautiful. A NYC apartment or somewhat inspired lichees is somewhere I would like to live at at some point or have the chance to decorate being a designer myself.

What are your thoughts on NYC inspired apartments?
